Within town limits Permit Office

Electrical permit or inspection for one or more of the following:

• Mobile Home Movements

• 12 month vacancy

• All Mobile Home Movements - State Fire Marshall Permit - call 1-888-648-0877

MS mobile home registration number is required for only the following:

• A mobile home moved from one county to another

• A mobile home sold (like transferring a car title)

• A mobile home moved to location where there never has been service (Tech)

Weather damage: If a customer has suffered damages to their electrical services  (meter, riser or weather head) due to bad weather conditions the customer may have an approved electrician from the City of Clarksdale EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS list perform repairs and the electrician may contact the electrical power company if the repairs are corrected when the City Public Works Department is closed for business to have electrical power restored to the customer after the damage has been corrected as per the Residential and National Electrical Code

• Advise the customer to get the inspection the next business day

• Issue an emergency reconnect work order

• Issue a PERM ticket.  The Permit Desk will follow up to ensure that the location meets proper permitting requirements

• Advise the customer that the location will be subject to disconnection of the Permit is not received the next business day
