Desoto County Permit Requirements

Residential Service:

- All Mobile Home Movement:

- Mississippi State Fire Marshall permit (1-888-648-0877)

- County Permit (customer to call in the permit number. It will begin with the letter (E), 3 digit number)

- Mobile Home Registration (MHR)

Only required for the following:

- A mobile home moved from one county to another

- A mobile home sold (like transferring a car title)

- A mobile home moved to a location where there never has been service (Tech)
