Schulz to Locate Seamless Pipe Manufacturing Facility in Mississippi
Governor
Haley Barbour and officials from Wilh. Schulz GMBH, a global supplier of
piping components, have announced that the company has selected Tunica, MS as
the location for its new pipe manufacturing facility. The company’s
Mississippi division, which will be know as Schulz Xtruded Products, or SXP,
will create 500 new jobs at the facility over the next five years. The Tunica
County operation will be the company’s first production facility in North
America.

Development Association, is a 2009 recipient of the Teamwork Mississippi
Community Leadership Award.

Community Leadership Award to Norman Gillis of McComb.
Teamwork Mississippi, Entergy’s economic and community development program,
presents its Community Leadership Award to recognize area leaders who have
achieved outstanding results in improving the quality of life in their
communities. The program helps prepare a community for a growth and
development by addressing areas such as community readiness, business
development, project management, existing industry and marketing.

"It’s unbelievable," Horn Lake Schnuck's manager Tina Stokes said about
receiving Entergy's Teamwork Mississippi Community Leadership award during the
Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce's monthly coffee break on Wednesday. "I'm
surprised."
The award recognizes area leaders who have achieved outstanding results in
